I'm Gaby, a Newburyporter and first-time business owner. I am so glad you are checking out my work! I have been an amateur photographer since age twelve when my father, a well-known photographer in the Boston arts community, took me on a trip to ME in the dead of winter to shoot on a classic Nikon F1, the original workhorse from the 1960’s.
I returned to this passion after doing the corporate career path for a number of years in Washington D.C. I wanted to have my own business and more control. I dipped a toe in, creating a Thumbtack profile, and had the best time connecting and posing these clients. They were also so grateful because they wouldn't have had any shots of their special moments if I hadn't shown up for them. It was a no brainer - a new path lay before me.
Today, I have worked with over 200 families and businesses. I draw on experience in childcare to coax babies into looking at the camera! Clients are super happy when they can relax and leave the cat herding up to me! I am connected to the photography community and have learned wedding photography from friends over the past two years I have been in business. I hope you will give me a try. Weddings
I work with you and your vendors to craft the perfect wedding album. Your experience matters and that’s why we get organized and plan out the shots you want. If you work with me you can be sure to get lots of candids and at least a handful of artistic ‘out-there’ shots. My couples tend to have a balance between wanting to pose for pictures and wanting to forget I’m even there and just be present during their day.
Family
No matter what kind of day your family is having I will do my best to get everyone smiling and and having fun for the photoshoot. We jump right into the shoot because kids usually do the best at the beginning. The shoot typically revolves around them so nobody feels poked and prodded and we end up with beautifully authentic moments. Session fee + deliverable package including print credits + free preview slideshow to music.
